A Life Rooted in Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being very aware of what you are sensing and feeling in the moment without any interpretation of judgement.
It can involve using breathing and relaxation techniques and guided visualisations. Mindfulness can be practised in relation to eating, walking and observing.
Mindfulness is a moment by moment awareness of our thoughts and feelings, bodily sensations and the surrounding environment through a gentle lens.
When we practice mindfulness we tune into what we are sensing in the present moment rather than revisiting the past or imagining some future scenario.
